Evening Eating in the Park

5th May 2017

All welcome

The Café in the Park to trial late opening on Thursdays from May onwards.

In response to demand, The Café in the Park in the tranquil Rickmansworth Aquadrome will be opening its doors for a variety of evening food events from 4 May. The season kicks off with a Mezze and Schwarma feast for just £15 per person (must be booked in advance). This event and subsequent SupperClub events focus on sharing great food and conversation with all dishes served to communal tables. The bar is open at every event and a great range of craft British beers, ciders and wines are available. In addition to these events which need to be pre-booked the café will also open on the second and third Thursday of every month for more informal burger night and mezze nights.

The Café in the Park is a family run business that has a real place in the heart of the local community with a reputation for vibrant, tasty, flavoursome and ethically sourced food. With a brigade of eight full time chefs everything is made in their kitchen from breads to broths and stocks to sauces. Carly, co-owner of the business says ‘we believe in creating a menu that focuses on flavour whilst limiting the use of unnecessary added fats and sugars. Good food requires skill and creative flair and our brigade work enthusiastically and tirelessly to build and maintain our reputation as a ‘local gem’ as we were described in the 2017 Good Food Guide.
