Chicken comes home to roost…
North West London will soon have an exciting new restaurant and bar, Pecking Order. With a menu centered on rotisserie chicken, seasonal sides and indulgent sauces, gremolata and a selection of quick fixes, it will provide a great place for friends and families to roost.
The restaurant opens during Easter Weekend, at 12 Buckingham Parade, The Broadway, Stanmore HA7 4EB, and to celebrate the launch, Pecking Order will be offering it first 50 customers a free quarter chicken or 6oz burger.
All Pecking Order chicken is corn-fed, supplied by Suffolk Farms, and is Red Tractor approved. The restaurant will also serve a range of tasty burgers with prime British Beef sourced direct from Hereford Farm.
Pecking Order is the first venture by partners and local residents, Dhilon Solanki and Vishav Roma. Restaurant consultant Dhilon was previously Head of Marketing at luxury restaurant and bar chain, The Living Room, while Vishav specialises in property development and construction. Speaking about the launch, Dhilon commented, “The premise behind Pecking Order is simple – great food and drinks, available on your doorstep, with the standards and ambiance you’d expect in a central London venue."
The cocktail menu comprises distinctive blends including:
Key Lime Pie - a delicious mix of citrus infused vodka, Galiano vanilla liqueur mixed with fresh lime juice, pineapple juice, egg white and sugar syrup.
Rum Espressotini - A homage to legendary London Bartender Dick Bradsell, the man behind the Espresso Martini. Rum, Kahlua and a shot of espresso.
Pear and Cardamon Mule - Since its creation in 1941 in the US, the mule is a staple of any cocktail bar. Pecking Order adds a modern touch to this great drink by mixing Bombay Sapphire gin with Xante pear brandy, Elderflower liquor, fresh lime and ginger beer. The addition of cardamom gives it a fresh spicy edge.
Thyme after Thyme - This crisp blend of Hendricks gin, thyme infused honey syrup, ginger beer and thin slices of cucumber will make you come back, time after time.
