Al Fresco Living

10th June 2011

Summer is – at long last – on the horizon, so it's time to get in the mood for some al fresco living.

The al fresco lifestyle should be relaxed and easy, but, especially if you’re inviting family and friends, don’t forget some garden maintenance. Maybe this is the time for a new mower, for example, or some lawn improvement work. Add some garden art for interest, or new toys for the children, and some up-to-the-minute furniture. If the weather’s really hot, you’ll need an awning for shade, and clean water in the pool when you want to cool off.

Invest in some garden lighting so the party can go on into the evening, and if you’re planning to serve food, then think about a new barbecue, with some really good quality meat – or go the whole hog and have it delivered already cooked.

Kick off your shoes and enjoy the fresh air…
