St Martin’s School aims to provide boys aged 3-13 with the best start in life. It offers the breadth of education and experience for pupils to reach their full potential. Academic standards are high, as St. Martin’s prepares boys for entry to a range of Independent Senior Schools. Sixty-five Scholarships have been awarded during the last seven years.

Children are taught a full curriculum, and have the opportunity to participate in a number of sporting, arts related activities and extra-curricular activities. All boys, irrespective of ability, are encouraged to represent their school at least once. The atmosphere is friendly and lively with great emphasis on pastoral care. Pre-school and after-school clubs are available 8am to 6pm for pupils from Kindergarten age upwards, .

Wide musical, acting and cultural experiences are on offer. Over half of the boys at St Martin’s can play or are learning to play a musical instrument. A new performing arts centre and kindergarten building have just been completed.

Many outings are organised, such as theatre visits, or the Geography field trip. The school also welcomes educational visitors, including authors and the Architectural Workshop.

Headmaster Mr Tidmarsh looks forward to welcoming prospective parents at the Open Days: Friday 1 and Saturday 2 October.
